Tropic Waterfall is a soothing piece of desktop wallpaper from EleFun Multimedia. It’s straightforward to download, but it can be a little tricky to get it to work. It doesn’t get along well with Windows 7.

Pros: It’s a pretty way of preventing your screen from burning out.

Cons: Considering it’s essentially eye candy, the full licence is not that cheap.

Conclusion: You might be willing to shell out a tenner or so for it. But to be honest, there are lots of free alternatives out there.
